“That’s a big number. In fact, it’s the largest economic development project in Muskegon County history.”

The Norton Shores company is expanding its La Colombe facility producing ready-to-drink lattes and cold brew coffees.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined Chobani employees celebrating the investment.

“Adding more than 200,000 square feet of production space, improve wastewater infrastructure in the surrounding community, and double the facility’s workforce. Creating 337 good-paying jobs.”

Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya says he continues to invest in Muskegon County because of the people.

“I really fell in love with the people here. I felt like this is a home and it’s really important for us to feel like we are part of the community, and when you are feeling like you are part of the community, magic starts happening, and I think that’s what we’re seeing here today.”
