New movie releases for this weekend

The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners did not hire a new administrator on Thursday, Calder Plaza in Grand Rapids is getting some enhancements, Asian Longhorned Tick has been detected in Michigan, and the Grand River Bands of Ottawa Indians is hosting their 43rd annual Homecoming of the Three Fires event this weekend.

The Parents of the Oxford High School shooter plan to appeal their convictions, Trump signs bill, pushed by Michigan Rep. John James, that stops California from from banning sales of new gasoline-powered cars within a decade, and a higher education budget passed the Michigan House that would increase funding for most of the state's public universities but guts funding to UofM and MSU.
