The Grand Rapids Department of Parks and Recreation will host job fairs on January 22nd and again on January 29th.The goal is to connect job seekers with hiring managers offering seasonal and part time positions within the department as well as at the brand new MLK Community Center.
A news release says the job fairs will allow job seekers the opportunity to meet with hiring managers to learn more about available positions, Parks & Recreation careers and complete preliminary interviews.
Kourtney Perkins, recreation operations manager for the MLK Community Center says, “There are a wide variety of positions that cover many different skillsets and provide a variety of professional opportunities.”
