City of GR invites public to help select official 175th anniversary poster

Voting is open until September 5th. Grand Rapids turned 175 years-old in April

The Grand Rapids’ Art Advisory Committee has selected three finalists for the city’s 175th Anniversary Celebration poster. This, after receiving dozens of submissions from local artists. And now, they’re looking for your help in picking the winning design for the commemorative poster.

Voting is now open through Friday, September 5th. The winning design will be unveiled during the ArtPrize opening ceremony Thursday, September 19th.

Assistant City Manager, Doug Matthews says quote, ““This competition is a celebration of the creativity and community spirit that define Grand Rapids,” adding, “We’re excited to see which design connects most with our residents and their impression of this commemorative year.”
