A man in prison on a drug conviction has been charged in the slaying of a 32-year-old woman whose body was found buried on a western Michigan farm.
The Muskegon County prosecutor's office has charged 35-year-old Ronald Earl Williams with open murder.
A tip led authorities in January to Bobbie Maples' body in Fruitland Township.
Maples' body was beneath a horse corral and capped with cement or concrete. The Roosevelt Park woman disappeared in December 2014, less than two weeks after giving birth.
Williams is being held in the Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility in Muskegon.
He is expected to be arraigned later this week on the murder charge.
