Teen dead in Grand Rapids-area park; suspect in custody

A 16-year-old boy has been found dead in a park in Wyoming where police ruled his death a homicide.

Police say a dog-walker found the body of Michael White in Lions Park on Saturday.

There’s evidence of head trauma and an autopsy is slated to take place on Monday.

A suspect is already in custody.

According to MLive, White was found at 11:19 a.m. on the wooded patch of the park’s seven-acre northern edge.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Wyoming Police Department at 616 530 7300.
