Conversation with Grand Rapids Civic Theater Artistic Director Bruce Tinker

The Grand Rapids Civic Theater recently held a panel discussion on how immigration has impacted the local community both historically and locally. Opening February 24th, the Civic Theater presents “Ragtime” an American musical that deals with immigration and racial issues at the turn of the 20th Century.  WGVU’S Daniel Boothe spoke with Ragtime Director Bruce Tinker about what audiences can expect--and how Ragtime relates to today’s debate on immigration.
