The Jewish Theatre's production of Irena's Vow has opened at the Spectrum Theater in Grand Rapids. The play tells the story of a Catholic house maid for a German Army Major in World War II who hides Jewish families in his basement in the hopes of keeping them from being sent to the holocaust. WGVU goes backstage to speak with director Jason Marlett, and the two actors who play Irena about what audiences can expect.

Irena's Vow runs through January 22 at the Spectrum Theater in Grand Rapids. Tickets are available by calling the box office at 616-234-3946, Monday through Friday from 1-5 p.m.
