'Medical Home-on-Wheels': Catherine’s Health launches a mobile unit and opens its Heartside clinic to the public

The Michigan Senate Housing and Human Services Committee approved bills today that would expand regulations on mobile home parks.

The mobile clinic will run through August 16th. Services are available for anyone in the community

Michigan’s new distracted driving law goes into effect this week. The crackdown on cell-phone use while driving comes as a recent report finds the state has seen an increase in traffic fatalities.

Once signed, the bills would take effect on Friday, June 30th . The new law would have to be renewed in five years or it would expire
