As West Michigan prepares for its first major weather event of 2024, local road crews are getting ready for what lies ahead

AAA is urging drivers to take precautions and be prepared if they have to be on the roads during the winter storm

The Muskegon County Road Commission with its 45 to 50 snowplow drivers are working around the clock clearing roadways.

More than 20 flights were cancelled with a number of delays at Gerald R. International Airport. Field crews are working around the clock focused on keeping runways clear.

As blizzard conditions ramp up across west Michigan, road commissions and street departments have been preparing for more than a foot of snow.
