We follow up with yesterday's event on the findings of a new poll on elections in Michigan. A panel discussion was held at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum featuring members of the bipartisan board of the Democracy Defense Project. Two such panelists follow up this morning, Former Michigan Governor John Engler and former Lt. Gov John Cherry discuss the poll and what it means moving.
The second and third of five planned Great Lakes crossings takes place this summer, Dr. Bryan Huffman will be attempting to swim across Lake Huron in July and Lake Superior in August. Last summer he completed the Triple Crown of marathon swims with a solo swim across Lake Erie. Dr. Huffman joins in to discuss his training and raising funds for the Kid's Safety Swim Club.

Partners are coming together to bring The Ring to GR Bike Park tomorrow. It’s a free action-packed bicycle racing series to promote outdoor activity and raise awareness of GR Parks and recreational spaces. Jeff Jacobi, Cycling Community Leader, discusses this competition on a gravel flat track course. The Ring is a partnership between Monk Recordings and Art, Experience GR, and Friends of GR Parks.
Embrace Them is a powerful new summer experience created through a collaboration between Embrace Her and the We Matter Now Initiative. Youth ages 14-18 will participate in activities to promote mental health, career skills, self-esteem and real talk, all beginning July 8th. Dondrea Brown of Young Money Finances GR joins us.
