The girls did not arrive at school Tuesday

Gemir Blakely (19), Omarion Dixon (18), and Cartier Lawrence-Murray (20) face open murder charges, among others, in the death of 20-year-old Julius Hight.

A No Body Contact Advisory is in effect and will be lifted when water samples show acceptable water quality. Ottawa County is warning the public to avoid body contact of any kind with these waters until this advisory is lifted.

33-year-old Tabitha Davis was charged for sending a message through Governor Whitmer’s constituent services website that threatened the governor. Davis admitted to sending the message and initially claimed that it was protected speech.

Positioned throughout Ottawa County, these kiosk stations allow residents to download and complete court forms, file documents and paperwork, pay fees, fines, court costs, or child support, seek assistance from the Legal Self-Help Center, conduct legal research, and attend court hearings held virtually.

The project includes the construction of a pedestrian bridge, miles of non-motorized trails, streetscaping improvements and a complete reimagination of the city center along 28th street.

Participants can earn a slight bit more this year than last year’s guidelines allowed and still qualify.
