The Kelloggsville Public School district in the cities of Wyoming and Kentwood is asking voters to approve a bond proposal that would generate over $38 million dollars.
If approved, it would fund renovations and additions to West Kelloggsville Elementary School, as well as technology and safety upgrades, infrastructure repairs, traffic-flow improvements, and tennis court updates throughout the district.
The proposal calls for “no estimated increase over the 2026 overall debt millage levy.” The bonds would be levied at 2.15 mills in 2027.
Other district improvements include traffic flow and pick-up/drop-off changes at Central Kelloggsville Elementary and Kelloggsville Middle Schools, addressing traffic congestion at the beginning and end of school days.
Early voting is currently underway in Wyoming and Kentwood through November 1st from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
