MDOT seeks public input on 2027 US-31 Business Route resurfacing in Montague

No Copyright

Public input is being sought from now until January 31st

The 2027 project calls for the resurfacing of US-31 Business Route, also known as Water and Dowling Streets, between White River and Stanton Boulevard in Montague. Sidewalk ramp improvements will also be made in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

MDOT is looking to obtain a 0.01-acre permanent easement right of way along the east corner of the intersection of US-31 Business Route at Ellenwood Park, also known as Weathervane Park. During the work, the sidewalk ramp will be temporarily closed, but the park will remain open.

Public input is being sought from now until January 31st to address any concerns that may result from any impact on the adjacent recreational properties. Comments can be submitted on MDOT’s website.

No word on how long the project is expected to take.
