And offers M-S-U medical students an opportunity to watch and learn.

Dr. Steven Cohle will still be the county medical examiner; he becomes an employee of MSU.
“MSU will provide Kent County with the services of chief medical examiner Steven Cohle.”
Michigan Pathology Associates had been the county’s medical examiner partner, but they are ending forensic pathology services, leading to the partnership with MSU.
“Two-way benefit for the medical school and Kent County.”
All county board members support the new arrangement. Commissioner Stan Ponstein:
