Republican Paul Hudson says his top three priorities are inflation, better schools and security. Addressing those issues calls for his GPS plan.
“It stands for growth, prosperity and security.”
The East Grand Rapids attorney would promote pro-growth policies through lower taxes, less regulation and reduced government spending while preparing the next generation for success.
“By recommitting to reforms in education here at home.”
Hudson explains security begins with securing the southern border and enforcing the rule of law at home while leading on the world stage.
For Democratic incumbent Hillary Scholten, her focus is cost of living, accessibility to affordable housing and access to affordable healthcare.
A member of the U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure and Small Business committees, Scholten’s plan includes investing in small businesses and housing.
“By incentivizing Baby Boomers who are outgrowing their house to sell them, so they don’t have to pay excessive taxes on them by incentivizing new construction.”
Scholten says she will continue her push lowering the cost of prescription drugs, caping the cost of premiums and protecting the right to reproductive freedom.
