CMU investigating alleged Michigan staffer on its sideline scouting Michigan State

It’s still not certain if a suspended staff member on the University of Michigan football team was secretly on the sidelines at a Central Michigan University football game stealing signals. But if he was, the CMU coach says there is no place for that in football.

“our people are doing everything they can to get to the bottom of it.

“I do know his name was on none of the passes that were let out.”

Stallions is already under investigation for allegedly breaking the rules by buying tickets for others to attend games of future University of Michigan opponents to steal their signs to give the Wolverines an advantage. But this is the first suggestion he impersonated staff of another school to get sideline access

“certainly don’t condone it in any way shape or form.”

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh denies any knowledge of a sign stealing scheme.

“Cooperate with the investigation and watch how it plays out. Just have to let it play out.”

“There is no place in football for that.”
