Dementia is a term that describes a range of symptoms associated with a decline in brain function. The Roving Mic heads to Holland Home to experience a dementia journey: a live simulation where senses are altered, and practical everyday tasks are assigned under these conditions in order to gain some perspective on what it’s like for someone living with dementia. Memory Care Coordinator Lois Thomas and Staffer Melanie take us through the tasks.
