Kids Day at the Zoo happens Thursday, August 7 on the grounds of the John Ball Zoo. We talk about the event with WGVU's Kim Shefferly and JBZ's Mariah Malone, all things Entertainment, Ice cream, a creative tube and Zoo discounts.

Nearly 75% of Kids Vision issues are missed at school screenings. We talk to Dr. Jacquie Bowen, OD, President, American Optometric Association Board of Trustees, about a comprehensive eye exam, the recommended frequency of eye exams and tips for parents to help protect their children's eye health.

A new series of public art installations and murals will be completed throughout North East Grand Rapids in efforts to improve public health and community connection.
