Between ticket sales and sponsorships, leaders in Holland say the new Window on the Waterfront ice skate park is paying for itself, with the park's popularity in the first year of operations exceeding expectations

This is opening day for the new $11M Holland Window on the Waterfront ice skating park. Hot cocoa and other concessions are available and, in the near future, alcoholic beverages may also be allowed

The long-awaited Holland Ice Park isn't even open yet and reservations are selling out

Highlights include money for the restoration of Grand Rapids’ Sullivan Field and Holland’s Community Ice Skating Park.
