Starting January 9th, the Muskegon County Airport will offer seasonal nonstop weekly service to Orlando Sanford International Airport in Florida.
Operated by Denver Air Connection, the new route marks the first time in Muskegon County Airport’s history that a scheduled commercial airline service connects Muskegon directly to Florida.
Flights will depart and return on Saturdays aboard DAC’s 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jet. One-way tickets go on sale November 10th starting at $199.
Airport Director Ken Efting stated, “This is exactly the kind of opportunity we’ve been working toward, and it’s a testament to our growing community support and strong partnership with Denver Air Connection.”
Muskegon switched to DAC as its flight provider in November 2024. The move followed a brief stint with Southern Airways which stepped in after SkyWest Airlines pulled out during the pandemic.
DAC currently provides daily service between Muskegon and Chicago O’Hare International Airport, where there’s connecting opportunities with United, American and Delta Airlines.
