Hope Network is acquiring West Michigan-based Developmental Enhancement Behavioral Health, or DE, a specialized child and family-focused behavioral healthcare provider.
“DE has some additional things that we don’t have currently in our autism centers.”

“They have a really rich diagnostic service, for instance. They also have some additional staff that can do mental health therapy.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 1 in 31 children are now identified with autism spectrum disorder.
Zambiasi says Hope’s acquisition of DE builds on its existing Center for Autism services throughout Kent, Ottawa, and Allegan counties.
“For DE, Hope Network has, for instance, we’ve got speech therapy services that we’re providing, and so now their clients will have access to all those things as well.”
DE will continue operating through its existing locations and clinical teams in Grand Rapids, Grandville, and Holland.
