The city of Grand Rapids and Kent County are teaming up to develop a regional arts & culture strategy focusing on strengthening and supporting arts, culture, and creative opportunities throughout the region.

To that end, residents are being asked to take the Greater Grand Rapids Arts & Culture Community Survey. Feedback from the survey will help identify how residents currently engage with arts and culture and what opportunities they would like to see in the future.

Organizers are encouraging participation from everyone across Kent County, including artists, creative professionals, volunteers, local event supporters, or anyone who enjoys arts and cultural activities.

According to Grand Rapids’ economic development organization The Right Place, events like ArtPrize generate $300 million annually for the region, attracting 1.3 million visitors and employing 2,500 workers.

The online survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and remains open through July 31st.
