Michigan's Adventure cancels Tricks & Treats fall event

David Limbaugh

The state’s only amusement park, Michigan’s Adventure in Muskegon, announced it’s cancelling its fall season

In an email to season pass holders, Michigan’s Adventure amusement park in Muskegon stated, “After much research and planning, we’ve made the strategic decision to focus on delivering exceptional experiences during our core operating seasons, spring and summer. This means that Tricks & Treats will not return this fall.”

The park’s final day of operation will be September 1st.

Season pass holders are being offered a complimentary ticket to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, valid for any regular operating day through November 1st.

Michigan’s Adventure debuted Tricks & Treats in 2023, a Halloween-themed event held on weekends from mid-September through mid-October. Season pass holders received free admission to the event.

Cedar Point hosts its own fall event, HalloWeekends, from September 11th through November 1st.

Cedar Fair Entertainment, the parent company of Cedar Point, purchased Michigan’s Adventure in 2001. Cedar Fair then merged with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in 2024.
