MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) - Michigan's Adventure is commemorating the 60th anniversary of the attraction that later became the popular amusement park by opening a petting farm. The Muskegon Chronicle reports "Funland Farm" will bring back memories of the park's origins. Deer Park was established in 1956 as an animal park featuring deer, a llama and a variety of barnyard animals. It became Deer Park Funland in 1972. The Muskegon-area attraction later became Michigan's Adventure. The "Funland Farm" will be similar to its predecessor. It will feature a variety of animals, including llamas, alpacas, a miniature horse and a miniature donkey. Visitors will be able to interact with the animals and take photos in a barnyard-style environment.
