Paint & Connect and Restorative Yoga are the two new items coming to Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids in Lowell as they expand their emotional health and wellness programming.
A news release says these free programs provide accessible, community-centered opportunities for emotional release, connection, and healing.
The first Restorative Yoga program will be held Tuesday August 5th and the Paint & Connect activity will take place on Tuesday, August 19th.
Gilda’s Club says its sessions are facilitated by trained professionals and designed to meet individuals where they are in their journey, whether they are living with cancer, grieving a loss, or simply in need of connection and self-care.
Wendy Wigger, president and CEO, Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids, says quote, “These new programs reflect our ongoing commitment to expand services in Lowell and surrounding communities,” adding, “We want everyone to know -at Gilda’s Club, you don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone.”
Both programs are open to the public and do not require Gilda’s Club membership to participate. Programs will be available at the Lowell Clubhouse located at the First Congregational UCC of Lowell.
If you are interested in attending either program, you can contact a Gilda’s Club staff member at (616) 453-8300 to register.
