After 12 weeks of extensive renovations, the Kent County Animal Shelter officially returned to its primary location at 740 Fuller Avenue Northeast.
The shelter reopened to the public after moving to a smaller, temporary location at the end of January due to much-needed renovations taking place at the Fuller Avenue facility.
Upgraded amenities now include new flooring throughout the shelter and space enhancements to better serve animals and their future families.
KCAS will hold a grand reopening celebration June 2nd at the Fuller facility from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility and connect with adoptable pets.
