Kent Co. Health Dept. moves some services during renovations

Kent County Health Connect

Starting today, some Kent County Health Department services are moving out of its main clinic

Due to renovations, the Kent County Health Department is moving a few services out of its main clinic at 700 Fuller Avenue Northeast, just off I-196 in Grand Rapids.

Services for Women, Infants & Children and Immunizations will be moved to alternate clinic locations within the county.

Those clinics include the North Clinic on 17 Mile Road Northeast in Cedar Springs, the South Clinic on Kalamazoo Avenue Southeast in Kentwood, and the Sheldon Clinic on Franklin Street in Grand Rapids.

The renovation project will upgrade KCHD’s Fuller Clinic by expanding capacity and improve patient confidentiality by adding separate waiting rooms, exam rooms, and soundproofing. Those renovations are expected to be complete in early 2026.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, residents can call (616) 632-7200.
