Michigan House Republican incumbents win lakeshore races

Reps. DeBoer, Slagh, Smit and VanWoerkom maintain seats.

In Muskegon County’s 88th District, Republican incumbent Greg VanWoerkom defeated Democratic challenger Tim Meyer. In Ottawa Couty’s 86th District, Republican incumbent Nancy DeBoer overcame Democratic challenger Abby Klomparens. In Ottawa County’s 85th District, Republican incumbent Bradley Slagh defeated Democrat Marcia Mansaray. And in Allegan County, Republican incumbent Rachelle Smit beat Danene Shumaker in the 43rd District.
