Governor Walz is expected to touch down at Cherry Capital Airport in the late afternoon for an evening rally at around 7 in Traverse City.
The event follows a rally last week from former President Donald Trump.
For both tickets, the Traverse City region offers a strong chance to win voters in the race for Michigan, it’s a growing area, and it’s increasingly mixed, politically.
Campaign officials said Walz will address Harris’ “New Way Forward Plan” to lower costs, protect workers’ rights, and defend our freedoms.
Walz was in Harbor Springs and Petoskey earlier this month before his VP debate.
