Harris wants organized labor’s help to get out the vote among the blue wall of battleground states like Michigan

Harris says she’s part of the most pro-union administration in history.

And Harris strongly supports manufacturing electric vehicles in the U.S., which former President Donald Trump argues will cost auto workers jobs.

Administration officials like U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg say that means the stakes are high for states like Michigan:

“The job creation and the clean energy economy in the industrial Midwest that will either be developed or destroyed depending on who the next administration is led by.”

Trump was in Michigan twice last week, vowing to start new drilling for fossil fuels, new pipelines, and new refineries if he regains the White House.
