“We are excited to be able to educate the community on what is available in west Michigan and in Ottawa County.”
Ottawa County Veterans Affairs Director Jason Schenkel says his office is hosting a resource fair for veterans on Friday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Holland Civic Center.
“It’s really a resource fair for all veterans and families so we will have organizations there that will provide assistance. “
Schenkel says there will also be free food, haircuts, and some surplus military items like coats and sleeping bags for veterans who need them
“Help and resources regardless of the veteran’s situation”
