“Democracy Ambassadors” will receive non-partisan information, shareable fact sheets, and more

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is encouraging voters to sign up for the 2024 “Democracy Ambassador” program. Participants will receive non-partisan information, shareable fact sheets, and other resources related to upcoming elections.

They are then encouraged to share the information on social media to combat any misinformation related to the election aimed at local voters.

‘Ambassadors’ can also sign up to work as election inspectors for early voting and on election day.

Program leaders say they hope to build trust and faith in the state’s electoral process. During the 2020 Presidential election there were unfounded accusations of voter fraud.
