Five Grand Rapids teenagers are under arrest after deputies say they rammed police vehicles.
Wednesday evening an off-duty Kent County Sheriff’s detective observed suspicious activity in the Gaines Township Meijer and called in it.
When deputies arrived, they found the teens in a white car which then rammed into police vehicles in an attempt to escape.
The teens ran away but with help from the community and the Kentwood Police Department, the teens were found and arrested.
They range in age from 16 to 20 years old.
