Nonstop seasonal service started Thursday from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport to Boston, Massachusetts.
It’s all part of the airline’s latest seasonal expansion in 16 cities around the country.
A news release from the airline, says Allegiant’s leisure-focused business model builds its schedule around vacation seasons, making air travel to destinations convenient and affordable.
Drew Wells, Allegiant chief revenue officer says of the move, quote, “Anticipating a surge in travel demand, we are excited to bring back these perfectly-timed seasonal routes to fly passengers to some of our network’s most popular destinations across the country,” end quote.
The seasonal route from Grand Rapids, Michigan via Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) To Boston’s Logan International includes flights up to three times a week.
Allegiant’s website shows this route joins other locations such as stops in Florida, Nevada and Arizona among others.
