Celia Corporation making $6.9 million investment creating 52 new jobs.

Celia Corporation is making a $6.9 million investment. The company is known for its adhesive vinyl film known in the advertising signage and print industries. Celia manufacturing has been based in Sparta since 1984. Forty years later, it continues to flourish with 340 employees and growing.

The company is replacing older machinery with state-of-the-art equipment and creating 52 new jobs.

Celia had considered an out-of-state move to existing locations in Germany, California and Las Vegas but decided West Michigan offered a talented workforce.

Nonprofit regional economic development organization, The Right Place, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation worked with Celia Corporation. The MEDC supporting it with a $300,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.
