Investing $1.5 million in capital investments adding machinery and equipment and creating 21 new jobs

Fabric Building Covers USA specializes in the production of fabric covers and metal buildings. It’s a Subsidiary of Canadian-based Britespan Building Systems.

With its Canadian location operating at capacity, and in an effort to meet U.S. production timelines, the company chose its needed expansion in the City of Hudsonville over other communities located across the Midwest.

Fabric Building Covers USA will lease a Hudsonville facility where it will make renovations. Its investing $1.5 million in capital investments adding machinery and equipment.

Its Michigan presence will create 21 new jobs. The company says future expansion is likely with its focus on metal building manufacturing.

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is supporting Fabric Building Covers USA’s expansion with a $117,600 performance-based grant.

The City of Hudsonville is offering a 50% property tax abatement.
