A news release says an independent research firm evaluated the award-winning companies on categories such as communication, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and work-life balance. Of 1,300 nominations in the country, 195 winning organizations were honored as spring Best and Brightest National winners.
UM Health-West was one of the top 101 highest scoring winners.

This is the sixth year in a row that UM Health-West has been named among the Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation and the seventh consecutive honor in West Michigan.
