PADNOS expanding in City of Wyoming

PADNOS is making a multimillion-dollar investment expanding its recycling operations and creating jobs.

PADNOS has a long West Michigan history recycling scrap metals, paper, plastics and electronics dating back to its City of Holland founding in 1905.

As market demand grows today, PADNOS is making a $6.6 million investment providing waste materials for production of new products.

The City of Wyoming expansion is focused on recycling ocean bound plastics. That means construction of a new laboratory and providing necessary infrastructure upgrades, Transporting materials includes new loading docks and maintenance garage.

PADNOS was considering an Indiana location. Regional economic development organization, The Right Place, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation worked with PADNOS securing the Wyoming expansion. THE MEDC providing a $250,000 performance-based grant.

The new operation will create up to 50 new jobs. PADNOS says its committed to working with underserved communities and individuals returning from incarceration providing workforce skills.
