Presidential Debate set for Tuesday, while Jill Biden will be campaigning in Michigan
The first presidential debate of the year is set for this week, and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden campaign is sending one of his top surrogates to campaign in Michigan. Doctor Jill Biden is scheduled to visit Traverse City on Tuesday, the day Joe Biden and President Trump face off in the first of three presidential debates.
Democrats were criticized for not paying enough attention to Michigan in 2016. But this time both the Biden and Trump campaigns are frequently campaigning in the battleground state.
Last week Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris traveled to Flint and Detroit…while President Trump held a rally in Toledo…just across the state line. Jill Biden campaigned in Grand Rapids and Battle Creek two weeks ago.
