One of the top 10 insurance brokers is moving its global headquarters to downtown Grand Rapids.

Acrisure is expanding and relocating its world headquarters to Grand Rapids new Studio Park Development located at 123 Ionia Avenue SW. As the fastest growing insurance broker, the Caledonia-based firm is consolidating and leasing 105,000 square feet at the new location.

Acrisure CEO Greg Williams explains, “From 2009 and modest beginnings to now more than $1.8 billion in revenue, Acrisure has proudly called West Michigan our home” adding “This will be a world class home for a distinctly world class company that will enhance our ability to attract and retain talent to the region.”

Acrisure is investing $33 million dollars into the expansion creating 400 jobs.

It worked with regional nonprofit economic development organization, The Right, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation approving a $1 million performance-based grant as well as a Good Jobs for Michigan Withholding Tax Capture for up to 10 years valued at $6 million.
