The Grand Rapids Police Department is searching for a suspect who shot a man three times in the chest early Wednesday morning. Authorities were called to an area hospital just after midnight after a mini-van had dropped the victim off at the emergency room. Police spotted two males and a female walking away from the mini-van and were taken into custody for questioning. So far, no arrests have been made.
The 24-year-old victim is being treated in intensive care and is listed in critical condition. The scene of the shooting is yet to be known.
