A second massage therapist who worked at a western Michigan spa has been charged with criminal sexual conduct in connection with a reported assault during a session.
The Grand Rapids Press and WOOD-TV report 33-year-old Lance Martinez of Grand Haven faces a fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct charge after a woman filed a complaint with police about a Sept. 23 massage.
A hearing in the case is set for April 29.
Court records Friday didn't list a lawyer for Martinez.
The charge, which is punishable by up to two years in prison, comes after another therapist from Massage Green Spa in Grand Rapids was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
In that case, 54-year-old John Ashby is awaiting trial in the alleged Feb. 28 incident.
Police say they're continuing to investigate.
