Muskegon authorities are investigating a series of vehicle larcenies that began in October in two areas of the city.
The Muskegon Public Safety Office says additional larcenies occurred this past week.
Police say the incidences involve unlocked vehicles.
They urge residents to lock car doors, and hide valuable items from view even if only away from the vehicle briefly.
The department adds larcenies are often underreported, and encourage all victims to report the crime to authorities.
