Police seek information on Forest Hills break-ins

Kent County Sheriff's Department

The Kent County Sheriff’s Department says a rash of recent residential break-ins have been occurring during the daytime in the Forest Hills area during the past few months.

Police say the suspects gain entry to the home by breaking a window or glass sliding door.

The department says it believes affluent neighborhoods are being targeted. Gold, watches, cash and jewelry are among stolen items.

Authorities are seeking information on three persons of interest identified following a September home invasion and driving a 2014 or 2015 silver Volkswagen Tiguan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the KCSD at 616-632-6357, or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345 or SilentObserver.org.
