Work is getting started on a new facility for Landmark Aviation at Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
The Grand Rapids Press reports a groundbreaking was held this week at the Grand Rapids airport.
The facility is expected to open next summer.
The facility will include hangar and office space as well as a two-story atrium area.
Landmark Aviation has operated a local facility since 2013.
It offers aviation services, including refueling, deicing, maintenance, concierge services and catering.
