Creston Farmers Market brings neighbors together on the northeast side of GR every Saturday with fresh, local produce, artisan goods, live music, and rotating community events. Located at 123 Caledonia Ave NE from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the market is a welcoming space to shop, connect, and celebrate community all summer long.
On Saturday, September 13 (12–6 PM), Power to the People 616 will host Liberation Saturdays at Global Gathering West Michigan at Garfield Park, a free, community-rooted festival amplifying the voices, creativity, and resilience of Black and Brown communities in Grand Rapids.
This year’s event partners with the West Michigan Welcome Plan’s Global Gathering, highlighting grassroots collaboration across cultures and the shared celebration of diaspora. Attendees can expect:

Saturday mornings just got a whole lot brighter in Creston. Starting June 7, the Creston Farmers Market returns for its most exciting season yet, transforming the Creston West Lot into a bustling hub where neighbors become friends and shopping becomes celebration.
