The Jim Crow Traveling Exhibit is on display at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. The Roving Mic takes a visit to the exhibit to talk about its background and how it is a primer to the ultimate Jim Crow Museum slated to open in 2025. The exhibit is called Overcoming Hateful Things and is a collection of Stories from the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Imagery. A panel discussion about the exhibit and its contents is scheduled for 3 pm on Sunday August 13, at the GRPM’s Meijer Theatre.
