Weekly we focus on the work of area organizations advancing inclusion and equity in our community. This morning we hear from Autumn Hubbard, Annual Fund Manager with the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, speaking about an upcoming panel discussion event, “Creating a City of Inclusion: Modern Immigration, Local Impact,” on Thursday, February 15, 7-8:00pm at the Grand Rapids Public Library. Joining in today’s interview is WGVU grant writer, Steve Chappell, project director of WGVU’s grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in the area of racial equity.

Shelley Irwin is the host and producer for The WGVU Morning Show, a newsmagazine talk-show format on the local NPR affiliate Monday through Friday. The show, broadcast from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. features a wide variety of local and national newsmakers, plus special features.
