Professor Jeffrey Lowenstein presents an essay tribute to his mother, entitled President Day Reflection: My Mother's Search for Language. Lowenstein was the Endowed Professor of Civil Discourse for the Padnos/Sarosik Center and now the ED for the Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism.

Today is the 11th annual African American Male Achievement conference. We talk to Parris McMurray and Eric Brown about this day to empower, educate and equip over 1000 young men.

Sacred Beginnings' Warrior Awards and Gala returns to GR. The organization aims to make the city safer for survivors. We talk to survivor and founder Leslie King, about the event to raise funds and awareness for this local fight, while encouraging and equipping the community to take a stand.

Care Resourses offers the Veggie Van on site. We talk to Care Resources PACE Provider Relations Liaison Kelli Greer and the YMCA Community Collaboration Director Belisa Melton about the partnership and what's in the van.
